Here’s something I tried today for Bailey. I bought a bag of frozen black eyed peas with green beans in the mix. I steamed them and then added tomatoes, onions, and chicken. I thought I’d eat some and then puree some for B. I don’t think steaming the peas was the best idea, they never [...]

Baby Food: Ground beef w/sweet potatoes & tomatoes
All I know is, Bailey is crazy if she doesn’t like this meal. It smells delicious and I tasted – it tastes great! Easy to make and I managed to find canned tomatoes without any seeds and chopped up but not crushed (as most “diced” tomatoes end up being).

Weekend Notes.
So Bailey seems to have slowed down a little with her eating and she slept through the night both nights as well. (That still means up at 5-6am). She’s drinking around 6-7oz. but not the 8oz. that Avis noticed last week. Maybe the growth spurt is over.
I made some banana puree with my Magic Bullet [...]

I actually already own a steamer.
Who knew? I forgot that I own this appliance and that it can steam foods:
I’ve just always used it for slow cooking and frying! So that’s cool. I’ll have to try it out to see if it works good for this.
